Robbie Overson is much sought after for recordings and tour support. Robbie has over 20 years of experience in traditional music as well as a solid grounding in the jazz and rock idioms. Robbie joined the band Scullion in 1986. Alongside singer-songwriter Sonny Condell and filmmaker & broadcaster Philip King, they delighted audiences with their exceptional live performances. After Scullion's retirement, Robbie played with various artists such as Eleanor Shanley, Sean Keane and Eoin Duignan

It wasn't long before Scullion returned from retirement to thrill audiences with one-off live performances. Scullion have a strong following in Ireland and have many reunion gigs. Robbie currently tours extensively with Karan Casey and Niall Vallely. Karan sings traditional Irish songs alongside new Irish compositions by such artist as John Spillane & Louis de Paor, Billy Bragg, Ger Wolfe, Tim O'Brien & Darrell Scott, Ewan McColl and Karan herself.
